SCHWEGO® flow 6528

 Levelling additive for water-based coating systems | VOC-free

 

Chemical base:   Modified silicone polymer wetting agent mixture
     
Properties:   SCHWEGO® flow 6528 decreases the surface tension from water-based systems. It improves the wetting from critical substrates and optimizes the levelling. Troubles with orange peel or application marks are eliminated. In water, 0.01% SCHWEGO® flow 6528 reduces the surface tension to 22 mN/m. SCHWEGO® flow 6528 is free of VOC.
     
Applications:   SCHWEGO® flow 6528 is compatible with all resins and emulsions for water-based systems and can be used their. Application fields are parquet floorings, wood paints, glossy emulsion paints, industrial coatings, stoving enamels, furniture coatings, printing inks and corrosion formulations.

Processing:   The addition amount of SCHWEGO® flow 6528 is 0.1 - 1.0 %, calculated on total formulation. SCHWEGO® flow 6528 can be added at the all steps in the production.
     
Storage:   Do not store SCHWEGO® flow 6528 at temperatures below 5 °C and above 40° C. Stir it up before use. Keep it in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of SCHWEGO® flow 6528 remain stable for at least 2 years, provided the original container is closed after use.
