Schwegmann Junior Cup 2025

Almost 140 participants in the age groups U11 to U19 gathered for the first 'Schwegmann Junior Cup' in badminton in Remagen. Along with them their coaches and parents. In addition to participants from the Rhineland, there were kids from Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and even Bavaria and Lower Saxony, who took part in the inaugural event and provided many exciting and high-level matches. After 320 matches and the fantastic award ceremonies, the event could be considered a complete success. We, as sponsors, and BC Remagen as the organizing club, did not expect such positive feedback from the kids, their coaches, and parents. Thanks to the cooperation with the Badminton Association of Rhineland, the kids were able not only to win material and cash prizes but also to earn points for the German ranking list. In this combination, it is the only event in the Rhineland.

As the sponsor and namesake of this event, we would like to especially thank BC Remagen, including its sponsor Dunlop, and the Badminton Association Rhineland, along with the associated clubs, for making our first engagement in youth badminton such a wonderful success.
