SCHWEGO® foam 6326

Defoamer and deaerator for water-based coating systems, free of VOC

 

Chemical base:   Emulsion of oils and hydrophobic components
     
Properties:   SCHWEGO foam 6326 is a very effective defoamer for water based emulsion paints and coatings. Through the good emulsifiability of SCHWEGO foam 6326 is the incorporation in the paint system easier compared with typical mineral oil defoamer.        
     
Applications:   SCHWEGO foam 6326 can be used in emulsion paints based on styrene / acrylate, pure acrylate or vinylacetate dispersions from high till low PVC, silicate paints, adhesives, plasters, waterbased industrial coatings and to prevent foam at the polymerization of dispersions.

Processing:   SCHWEGO foam 6326 can be used in all steps of the paint production. To achieve the optimum of the efficiency is the best to incorporate  SCHWEGO foam 6326 with 50% in the mill base and with 50 % in the let down. The dosage is between  0.2 - 0.7 %, calculated on total system.
     
Storage:   Do not store SCHWEGO foam 6326 lower than 5°C.  Stir it up before use. Keep it in a cool, well-ventilated place. Protect SCHWEGO foam 6326 from frost.

Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of SCHWEGO foam 6326 remain stable for at least 12 months, provided the original container is closed after use.
